Gillette Children’s is an independent not-for-profit health system specializing in treating children who have brain, bone and movement conditions. Our experienced clinical staff collaborates to treat patients who have complex medical needs. This expertise makes us a resource and partner for health systems across Minnesota, America and countries across the globe.

Safety: We collaborate with 130+ children’s hospitals nationwide as a Solutions for Patient Safety (SPS) member. In 2018, SPS granted us “Navigator” status for our patient safety achievements. Gillette is one of only 13 of the 130+ SPS hospitals to hold this designation.

Quality: We’re the only Twin Cities hospital to have both a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center accreditation and a Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities-accredited pediatric specialty program.

Research: Gillette’s research focuses on translating medical advances into our care model to benefit our patient population by improving treatments, care and outcomes.

Excellence: Our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit holds the prestigious Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
