Holistic Health and Wellness

At Gillette, we can combine conventional treatments (e.g., medication, surgery) with integrative modalities (e.g., music therapy, Healing Touch, osteopathic manipulation therapy, essential oils, etc.) to promote well-being, alleviate the side effects of medication, and aid in the rehabilitation and treatment of complex medical conditions. Integrative therapies do not replace conventional treatment but are used as an effective complement to the other care we provide. Ask your care team for suggestions on which of these therapies are right for your diagnosis, treatment schedule and interests.

Long-Term Stay

If you need to be at Gillette for a week or longer, you might be more comfortable in a nearby hotel. Several hotels offer discounts for families of Gillette patients. For a list of those hotels, ask your nurse or contact Child and Family Services at 651-229-3855.
